The School of Creative Healing is based
in Scotland and is run by Jan Fyfe, a healer, writer
and qualified psychotherapist who has developed the school from her own
experiences of healing. She believes that healing of the self must come
before the healing of others, allowing the individual to be free to give
without judgement and with an openness that allows a free flow of energy.
Jan made the surprise discovery that she could heal a number of years
ago. At first she was unsure what to do with this gift and initially only
used it within the context of her own family.
The term "healing" is described by Jan as a label
that is given to something that is intrinsic and instinctive. It is the
ability to give unconditionally and to be able to understand that we are
all connected, we are all one. The universal energy of love is a part of
life that connects us all and can be channeled through thought, touch or
by voice. An example would be a conversation with a friend on the phone.
You may have been thinking of this person and then, through talking with
them, discover that they are in need of love. This is a sense we are all
open too and one that grows when we become aware of it. Therefore, the term
"healing" is very straightforward and easy to understand, it is
our gift of love that lies deep inside us all.
